Downspout flushing removes blockages, debris, and buildup from roof downspouts to ensure proper water drainage away from the home's foundation. This service prevents water damage, maintains drainage function, and protects the home's foundation and landscaping. PSL schedules and delivers this service automatically semi-annually as part of the membership maintenance plan, ensuring homeowners never need to remember or coordinate downspout maintenance.
What This Service Includes
Flushing of all accessible roof downspouts on the home
Removal of blockages, debris, dirt, and buildup from downspout interiors
Testing of downspout drainage flow
Visual check for visible damage or issues (detailed inspection is separate service)
Standard service covers single-story home downspouts (up to 18 feet in height at connection point)
What This Service Does Not Include
Gutter cleaning (see Gutter Cleaning service - included separately)
Gutter inspection with detailed reporting (see Gutter Inspection service - included separately)
Repair of damaged downspouts, loose downspouts, or downspout hardware
Downspout extension installation or adjustment (separate service required)
Cleaning of downspouts on detached structures (garages, sheds, etc.) - separate service required
Cleaning of downspouts above single-story height (18+ feet) requiring specialized equipment (additional charges may apply)
Underground drainage pipe cleaning or repair (separate service required)
Post-cleaning downspout extension or drainage improvement (separate service required)
